Paul Gressin
Paul Gressin is the President and a Senior Inspector of Professional Building Inspectors, Inc. Mr. Gressin has been inspecting both residential home and commercial property since 1969. In addition to his expertise in property inspections, Mr. Gressin has over three decades of experience in construction trades. He is a member of the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI) and has been awarded NAHI's highest designation, that of Certified Real Estate Inspector. Mr. Gressin is the immediate past president of the Metropolitan Association of Home Inspectors, the founding chapter of NAHI in New York State. Mr. Gressin is a licensed New York State Home Inspector.
Mr. Gressin has also earned the title of Council Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant by the American Indoor Air Quality Council in recognition of his completion of training and demonstrated competence in indoor air quality assessments. He continually uses this knowledge as an expert witness in legal matters.
In 1972 Mr. Gressin founded Professional Building Inspectors to meet the demands of many purchasers and law firms that we were working with in the construction and real estate fields, long before home inspections became a common element of purchasing a home. In the 1980s, outbreaks of Legionnaires' Disease and Sick Building Syndrome caused us to expand our services to meet the needs of our clients for environmental assessments. Today we are continually adding new services, such as thermal imaging and EIFS inspections, so that we remain current with new technology. The goal of the company has always been to provide clients with valuable information before they enter into a major expenditure. This protects the interests of our clients and also their investment.
